InnoTrans 2020 is postponed

The railway industry’s major showcase, InnoTrans, normally held every two years in Berlin, has been postponed due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

Originally scheduled for 22-25 September 2020, it cannot go ahead since the Berlin Senate has now banned all events with more than 5,000 persons until 24 October 2020.

A spokesperson said: ““We are already finalizing an alternative event date and will announce it at the beginning of May at the latest.”

Although no new date has yet been set, Rail Insider understands this could well be in April 2021.
